We would like to invite you to Mt. Elon Baptist Church to experience what others have come to know and love about our family in Christ. No matter your background, where you come from or what you have done, we believe God sent His Son, Jesus, to show you how much He loves you. Jesus is our Hope and Forgiveness here at Mt. Elon and we would love to share with you how He can be your Hope and Forgiveness . 

Knowing Christ personally means you can find your purpose in life and look forward to eternity with Him. You may be thinking, “I am not even looking for a church” or “I am not the church-going type”…

We are real people who believe that loving God, enjoying life with each other, and serving our community are of the utmost importance. 

We firmly believe that each person should come to Jesus just as they are, for it is He who radically transforms the broken and hopeless into the restored and hopeful.




And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Creating a loving community in a chaotic culture

The Gospel is ultimately about humanity being restored to God's community. Only through a changed lifestyle and supportive community will individuals grow fully in the grace and knowledge to be found in Jesus. It is also through that community that a fragmented world can best witness the power of the Gospel and the nature of God's work.

In this community we hope you experience confession, transformation, friendship, forgiveness, justice, power, and then love will spring up in the lives of real people.

Our hope is that those who do not know Christ will see this real life change and be compelled to ask, "what's going on?"
